Each of the illustrations are inside one of the Olympic rings: soccer, bicycling, cross country, swimming and gymnastics. At the top of the stein is a red border which features flags from half of the nations that competed, on the bottom there's a blue border which features the other half. The Olympic Torch is on the handle of the stein.
